Each year, Universities award honorary doctorates to exceptional people across every field of society. Collectively they represent an extraordinary source of insight, influence and opportunity, and one that is largely untapped.
The Society exists to release it. We give honorary doctors a purposeful platform to stay connected and keep contributing, and we give Universities a deliberate way to draw on the community they have already gathered.

How it works
A global society, with a chapter at each participating University.
Society management
The central Society sets standards, manages onboarding and verification, and develops the model worldwide.
University chapters
Each University runs a chapter aligned to the national model, with a liaison and a small board of its own honorary doctors.
Fellowship
Verified honorary doctors become Fellows of the Society and carry the post-nominal letters FSHD.
Engagement
Strategic boards, masterclasses, guest lectures and an annual gathering, all shaped around institutional priorities.
